Dr Lauri Käis is an otorhinolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon with a special interest in head and neck aesthetics. His work ranges from the treatment of skin tumors and related reconstructive surgery to the aesthetic correction of congenital and post-traumatic changes in both children and adults.
He graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in medicine, completed residencies in orthopedics and otorhinolaryngology, and also partially trained at Helsinki University Hospital. In addition to his appointments at Kotka Private Hospital, Lauri works at the North Estonia Medical Centre (SA PERH) in the Head and Neck Surgery Centre and as an ear, nose, and throat doctor-lecturer at the Tartu University Hospital.
Dr Käis has furthered his knowledge in rhinoseptoplasty, rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty in Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands, and has participated in numerous international specialized training courses and conferences. He is a member of the Estonian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons, and the European Rhinologic Society.
