Dr Indrek Mikomägi is a head and neck surgeon who graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tartu and completed his residency in otolaryngology.
His primary professional focus is the surgical treatment of neoplastic diseases of the head and neck region and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck region.
During his doctoral studies, he researched biomarkers of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, participated in clinical research, and specialist doctor training.
In addition, Dr. Mikomägi performs facial surgery, including the correction of ears, eyelids, lips, and scars.
He has enhanced his knowledge at professional conferences and practical training sessions across Europe and the United States, specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgery in France, Italy, and England. He has presented at several professional conferences and training sessions.
Dr. Mikomägi is a member of the Estonian Society of Otorhinolaryngologists, the Estonian Society of Head and Neck Surgeons, and the Estonian Society of Oncologists.
