I am plastic and reconstructive surgeon Pille Kirjanen. I dreamed to be a doctor already during middle school. And even before I attended Medical School I know that surgery would be a logical choice for me. During my Medical studies my interest to the surgery become deeper, so I chose every surgical course provided, and also started to attend the surgeries with plastic surgeons in Tartu University Hospital.

On my way to the speciality I chose, I have met interesting and inspiring people and very good and giving teachers, who have made the field of plastic surgery more interesting to me, than I ever could imagine. During my residency program I also met Jüri Kullamaa, MD, with whom we are good colleagues till date.

Today I perform about 500 different, both aesthetic and reconstructive, operations a year, in addition to that I also perform surgical procedures (eg thread lifts, removal of moles) and injections (fillers, botox). In Kotka Private Hospital I perform my aesthetic procedures (mainly breast and body operations, but also facial operations and procedures) and consultations. In North Estonian Medical Centre my main field of interest are breast reconstructive operations and skin cancer surgeries in head and neck region.

Since February 2017, I consult and operate in Kotka Private Hospital, where we have the most modern possibilities and best and friendliest personnel to give personal and professional care to our patients.

I am full member of Estonian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

My work is also my hobby, but during my spare time I love gardening and doing handwork, I also enjoy being in nature with my dog and family. I am in relationship and being mother of two kids.
